I am the founder and Managing Partner of SMO & CO and  established the firm in March 2012 after working in the commercial sector for more than 15 years. I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1999 and am also a Chartered Tax Adviser and an Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I serve as the firm’s principal tax adviser.

My experience covers a broad range of accounting, business advisory, company secretarial and tax matters. I advise businesses across a variety of sectors, including sole traders, partnerships, and small and medium-sized family-owned and managed businesses.

I also advise private individuals, trustees, executors and personal representatives on the tax and financial aspects of trusts and estates. This includes Inheritance Tax, the taxation of trusts, estate administration, and the Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax obligations arising during the administration of an estate.
